The Laboratory is an adaptable 2600 sq ft film and photography studio and private hire space located in Clapton, East London.

Set in a beautifully restored former Victorian Tram Depot and retaining many of its original features including a unique stone floor, concrete feature walls and stripped wooden beams, we are the ideal space for both large and small scale productions.

The Laboratory is also home to an in-house curated programme of artist talks and professional practice workshops in the creative fields, working with leading artists and industry figures.

INFORMATION





TRANSPORT


The Laboratory is located in Clapton, East London.

We are a short walk from Clapton overground station, with direct links to Liverpool Street Station and we are well serviced with local buses to Hackney and Central London.



CATERING


The studio works with a selection of the best shoot catering providers, get in touch to discuss your requirements and for the latest sample menus and booking information.


We are a short walk from a beautiful neighbourhood cafe and there are many local organic shops within a 10 minute walk of the studio




GENERAL


Our standard hours are 9am to 6pm, please contact us for out of hours requirements, access is 24/7.

We understand that each production and hire is bespoke, therefore our rates reflect this, we are extremely flexible, get in touch with details of your production and a member of the team will be in touch.
